IC 30: Twitter and Other Birds

Michael’s having a reflective moment about his Twitter usage. When is this often frustrating platform actually good for us to use? And when should we reconsider using it? Randolf keeps finding this weird, clever moments on Reddit threads. Lots of games TV/movies we’ve seen lately, plus a slew of fascinating subreddits, mostly about birds and nostalgia.

IC 29: Pokemon Don’t Go

It turns out that using your phone numbers to identify yourself online is pretty unsecure, as a recent T-Mobile hack shows us. That plus Pokemon Go is in the news again, and it isn’t any good news. Randolf’s playing a pun-tastic game, Michael’s seen a cringe-inducing but excellent indie movie by Bo Burnham, and GIBI has us talking about lazy dogs, a useful noise app, and some conspiracy  subreddits.

IC 21: Fighting the YouTube Algorithm

A discussion of the premiere of Westworld Season 2. Buzzfeed has an utterly bizarre story out that involves Jordan Peele and reminds us of a technology we’ve discussed previously. Randolf’s deep in JRPGs, both of us have tried PUBG Mobile and have very different takeaways, and Good Internet, Bad Internet has a subreddit that’s the trash heap of the Internet.

IC 14: A Year in Review

A spoiler-free preview of Star Wars The Last Jedi (AKA Michael and Randolf make a bunch of guesses about the movie), and an episode reviewing the year that was 2017. We look at Reddit novelty accounts gone by, what’s happened in podcasting, and our favorite games of the past year. We also replace Good Internet, Bad Internet with a superlative Best Internet, Worst Internet. We hope you all enjoy and we’ll see you in 2018!

Please note that we do discuss current American politics in this episode starting around 50:10 for about 15 minutes.

IC #12: Pugs All The Way Down

We start off with a discussion of the recent Paradise Papers revelations, followed by a supersized gaming corner wherein Randolf gives his verdict on Super Mario Odyssey and Michael is confused by play-to-win gamers. Then a Good Internet, Bad Internet with amazing Reddit comments in odd places, the onslaught of sexual harassment news stories, and a pug-tastic photo that will brighten your day.

IC #11: The Conspiracy Podcast

Michael and Randolf discuss how the Internet is handling the JFK Files release, polarized opinions around Blade Runner 2049, and what games we’re playing this week. IC #10: The Dumbest Story of 2017

This episode features possibly the dumbest story of the year, the McDonald’s Rick and Morty Szechuan sauce debacle. Michael and Randolf also talk about how online communities celebrate Halloween and the games we’re interested in right now. In Good Internet, Bad Internet they discuss a $100 hamburger in the middle of nowhere, some hard truths about cruise ships, and a very, very good dog.
